5 to 10 inches of rainfall possible

The National Weather Service is forecasting 5 to 10 inches of rain in Maryland and northern Virginia over the next few days as the remains of Tropical Storm Ernesto move northward.

Today's forecast for Keedysville is cloudy with a 40 percent chance of rain with isolated thunderstorms. Lows around 60. Highs in the upper 70's. Northeast winds are 5 to 10 mph.

For tomorrow, the forecast is rain with isolated thunderstorms. Rain may be heavy at times.
