We put two more nutritional tubs out for the goats today. We did this to make sure the less aggressive goats have ample opportunity to get the supplement.
We will weigh the goats again next Friday to see if we need to make any more nutritional adjustments. A big bale feeder will be purchased in case we decide to offer some hay.
Though the weather has been extremely uncomfortable for the last few days, the goats seem to be doing fine.

The Western Maryland Pasture-Based Meat Goat Performance Test is sponsored by University of Maryland Extension and is conducted at the Western Maryland Research & Education Center in Keedysville, Maryland. While on test, the goats consume a pasture-based diet and are evaluated for growth, parasite resistance, and parasite resilience.
